Our client is a highly successful self-managed investment trust company who are looking for their first L&D professional to work closely with the HR team on a variety of learning interventions. With strong support from the C-Suite to create more of a learning culture, you will partner the HR Manager to build on their existing L*D provisions sacros the business.
You will support business leaders, managers and employees to identify and meet leaning needs and work with external training providers to ensure high-quality learning experiences. It will also be essential to assist with the implementation of training projects and coordinate the full life-cycle of training programmes and workshops.
There will also be the opportunity to run their annual internship programme, collate and report on L&D data and develop L&D resources including L&D Bitesize and reading materials. Whilst supporting the HR Manager on performance management processes, you will also conduct research into best practice and trends in L&D.
Naturally this will be an excellent opportunity for a L&D professional who is looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive business environment. The HR Manager will allow this person to be innovative and creative in developing new Learning solutions, so proactivity and drive will be essential. With a passion for developing people, you will have previous experience in a L&D function whether that be at Coordinator or junior Advisor level.
