Head of HR
£85,000 - £100,000 + Benefits + Bonus
Our client sits within the digital technology space and is looking for a Head of HR to come on board and drive forward their People Strategy. As a key member of the senior management leadership team you will be responsible for leading on the company’s vision, organisation effectiveness and cultural management programmes to achieve business results. Offering a progressive approach to HR, you will manage a HR team across two sites in the UK, with future international expansion on the horizon.
Through working with the leadership team, the Head of HR will develop effective workforce planning, talent acquisition, learning development, performance management and succession planning across the organisation. Leading on employee engagement will be important and any other retention initiatives to increase organisational performance. You will be a driver for auditing HR policies and processes and ensuring that there is a continuous development and implementation of progressive rewards programmes. Whilst also acting as the overall escalation point for all ER cases, you will also champion the right internal communications strategy and execution with the senior leadership team.
With experience of leading a HR function, you will have a track-record in in successfully driving change management initiatives. With advanced knowledge of creating and leading on talent management principles, you will have experience in all areas of HR practice and be comfortable driving through effective organisational development frameworks. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management capability and an emotional intelligence to negotiate, evaluate and manage conflicting priorities effectively will be key. Experience of working within the technology sector will also be desirable or driving forward HR programmes within a fast-paced and commercially focused business.
