Our client is a prestigious investment management business and the HR Manager is looking for an HR Assistant to provide support for initially a period of four months. This may be extended or go permanent, but initially this will be a fixed-term contract. You will need to be able to commute to the offices in London three times a week.

The role will support the HR Manager on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from starters and leavers, supporting on all areas of recruitment administration, compiling any requested HR letters and correspondence, dealing performance management processes (including the appraisal process and preparing promotion paperwork) and providing general HR administrative support as required. You may also provide weekly updates and provide any necessary HR reports, whilst also acting as a point of contact on HR queries from employees across the business. This may include requests for general HR Information and Annual Leave balances.

There will also be some key projects to work on including working alongside the HR Manager on reviewing their Employee Handbook and assisting with the transfer of HR files to an electronic platform. Naturally you will develop effective working relationship with all stakeholders and employees, demonstrating great customer centricity towards these parties.

This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your HR skills within a professional business environment. Of graduate calibre, you will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. As well as a meticulous attention to detail, you will have the ability to be discrete and professional when dealing with sensitive information and take initiative and ownership of work whilst recognising when to escalate issues.
