We are delighted to be working within one of our long-established clients who are a leading professional services business based in the City. They are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the Firm to cover a maternity leave for the next 12 months.
The position will be leading the HR function and supporting circa 240 employees across offices in London and nationwide. Working closely with the HR Advisor and L&D Advisor, this will be a truly generalist HR role, working on all aspects of the employee lifecycle on operational and more strategic HR initiatives. This will include leading and advising on changes in employment law as well as reviewing and redesigning associated HR policies and processes.
Through working closely with the senior management team and broader management population, you will provide guidance and advice on all people matters, with one of the key current projects being Equality, Diversity & Inclusion. This will include supporting the L&D Advisor with the design and delivery of specific L&D programmes on areas such as ED&I. In addition, you will be managing and overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process, oversee all ER matters, support on aspects such as performance review and succession planning processes and deliver engagement programmes such as health and wellbeing.

With previous HR experience, ideally within the professional or financial services sector, you will be comfortable working at all levels within a company. Any experience within a SME would be advantageous, as at times you will need to be hands-on, but also have the ability to influence and work closely with the C-Suite. Experience of working on projects such as ED&I and wellbeing would be desirable, as well as a qualification in HR or the CIPD qualification.
