Our client is a leading transport organisation with a growing employee population. Owing to such development, the HR department require an additional resource at Advisor level to assist two HR Managers and a Head of HR on a day to day basis.
Within this highly visible role, you will be extremely hands-on, providing first line advice to managers and employees. Working across both blue collar and white-collar staff, you will be very experienced in employment law and have gained significant exposure in handling day to day ER issues. Working to a generalist remit you will also work on TUPE related issues and assist on ad hoc projects (currently these are projects around employee engagement and IiP).
Ideal candidates will already be operating at Officer level or similar, and be educated to CIPD or part CIPD level. Preferred candidates will come from a similar industry sector, with a strong ER focus. A committed self-starter, candidates for this role will need to be comfortable in managing their own work load and happy to take initiative.
