Working for this globally renowned financial services organisation and one of the world’s leading capital market businesses, you will be reporting into the Group Head of HR and playing a pivotal role in driving forward HR change programmes across the company. As Head of HR Programmes, you will work closely with the senior HR leaders across the divisions, to support the business in the delivery of mergers and acquisitions, Group-wide HR change projects, as well as coordinating Group communications across the organisation. Providing overall programme leadership, guidance and technical expertise, you will manage all aspects of an HR change programme, project or initiative, including requirement analysis, business case creation, planning and execution.

With oversight across all HR projects and programmes, it will be key to prepare and monitor all HR change programmes and where necessary lead on any high impact HR projects such as M&A. Ensuring suitable governance is in place, as well as risk is effectively managed, you will ensure all people related change elements of these projects are delivered by the COE’s, HRBP’s and HR ops teams. This will include addressing such areas as communications and engagement, impact assessment, employee relations, transition planning and knowledge transfer. Other areas of responsibility will included facilitating the creation of a pipeline of HR projects and change management initiatives, working with the Group Head of HR to effectively communicate HR priorities to the HR team, overseeing the functional communication plan and managing the delivery of CEO and Board reports.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR Generalist who has strong experience in managing the whole cycle of change within a matrix organisation. You may also have previous HR consulting experience where you have designed and delivered HR transformation programmes into a client business. Either way, with an in-depth knowledge of managing transformation work, you will have significant experience in leading projects and in project management tools (familiarity with Prince 2, Microsoft Project would be desirable). An ability to influence stakeholders at all levels in an organisation, whilst also coaching and up-skilling HR colleagues in project management expertise will be important part of this role. It will also be essential to be resilient, collaborative and proactive approach will be essential, whilst also having high ethical standards in line with Company Values.
