A unique People Manager opportunity has arisen with a fast paced tech start-up that is currently reaching all corners of the globe with multiple Apps. They are looking for a People Manager to join and help them grow within this collaborative and dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to learn new things on your journey.
Currently a small company with plans to grow organically this is an excellent opportunity to help develop their People function whilst also helping on broader areas of the business.
From a People perspective you will work with a HR Administrator on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition and on-boarding, benefits and payroll management, implementation of new HR policies and processes including a new performance management system and also manage all their HR practices in line with employment law changes. This will be an excellent opportunity to help develop their culture further, as well as work on broader HR initiatives such employee engagement.
Being a company undergoing growth, this person will need to be commercially minded and able to turn their hand to other duties in the business. This will include supporting the company’s in-app moderation team with updates to Community Guidelines and oversee investigations. With an in-house legal team in place, you will also help them from time to time on any matters, especially on employment law issues.
With strong generalist HR experience, you will be a commercially minded business person who is able to be adaptable in your approach. Ideally you will have worked within a fast-paced, growing business. Preference would be within the tech or media sectors and you will have experience of scaling a People function. An open-minded approach and an ability to be hands-on and pragmatic in your approach, will be essential in this role. Any additional languages would also be desirable.
