Our client is a market leader within its specific field in the financial services sector and with an established HR and Training function in place, is looking for a Training Advisor to join the team. Working on all aspects of the training life cycle, you will be involved in the design and delivery of the induction programme, technical training programmes, as well as soft skills training programmes across the organisation. Specific training programmes which you will be involved in include their Sales Optimisation and Customer Service development programmes, which will involve full coaching/mentoring of employees across the regions.
Working closely with Managers through the appraisal and performance management processes, you will ensure that the performance management cycle meets the company’s expectations. There will also be the opportunity to liaise with external training providers, design, deliver and update regulatory training courses and manage their e-learning platform. With the opportunities to also work on ad-hoc training projects and investigate new Learning and Development initiatives, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your L&D career within a progressive and commercially focused business.
With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be competent in working through all areas of the training life cycle. Strong analytical and problem solving skills will be essential and any previous sales and customer service training would be highly desirable. Previous experience of e-learning platforms to establish learning needs and any regulatory business environment exposure would be advantageous.
